Information about the B772 interior refit:
The Boeing 777-200ER fleet is the second aircraft type to receive the new Diamond seat. The first aircraft has entered modifications in Fall 2014. Not only the Business Class seat will get an overhaul, also the Economy Class cabin will get new seats and a new Inflight Entertainment System.
Very likely, the seating arrangement in Economy will go from 3-3-3 to 3-4-3 to counter the otherwise lost number of seats due to the bigger space for the WBC seats. As a result, the modification could take quite a long time as they are really overhauling the entire interior and have to get it certified etc..
The actual seatmap has not been published yet.
KLM currently has 15 B772s in service so it will take some time to get a real chance of finding the Diamond seat onboard a B772. KLM has not announced any dedicated routes for the modified triple-sevens. To get an idea where you MIGHT find a B772, the routes are noted here (click). In the meantime, if you are not so lucky, you can expect a non-flat, angled seat in World Business Class, nicknamed 'slippery slope'. General consensus is that sleeping is hard and uncomfortable, especially if you're used to full-flat seats or even angled full-flat seats. For dayflights, however, I personally found the seat to be very comfortable with ample space and width.
Here's an impression of the cabin with the old seats:
Seat type: Angled flat.
Length, width and recline: 190cm, 51cm, 176 degrees.
Pitch: 152cm.
Features: Retractable privacy canopy, 10.4 inch videoscreen in armrest with AVOD, powerport, adjustable personal readinglight, massage function.
Note: it is not possible to make the seat entirely flat, even at an angle. Also, when reclined the seatback reclines towards the person behind you.
